SKI TRAILS

Off your porch are 220km's of groomed skating and classic cross country ski trails that go from Mazama to Winthrop. Ski from your front porch all the way into the town of Winthrop! Have a bite of lunch, shop a little, then head back to enjoy a long soak under the stars in our trailside hot tub.

SNOWSHOE TOURS

Snowshoe tours start weekends after Christmas from the yurt right across from the Ranch House. These fun and educational trips are led by a trained naturalist from the Methow, and will tell you about winter ecology, natural history, animal adaptations, and other interesting aspects of winter in the Methow. Suitable for all ages, and snowshoes are provided free of charge at the yurt!

North Cascade Mountain Guides is the way to go for all-season experiences in the North Cascades. From skiing to rock climbing, their highly recommended guides have some amazing places to show you. In addition, they offer camps and workshops, as well as expeditions.
